Mobile Automation Test Engineer(Appium/Selenium/Cucumber)_5 To 7 years @ Kiya.ai

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Mobile Automation (Appium), API Testing, and Java-based automation frameworks.

In this role, you will automate and maintain regression suites across multiple business line applications, including mobile platforms, and contribute to continuous integration in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts using Appium, Cucumber, Gherkin and API automation tools.
• Execute automation test suites and support manual test execution when required.
• Ensure automation aligns with the enterprise automation framework standards.
• Evaluate test case automation feasibility and drive automation adoption across teams.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders in an Agile CI/CD environment.
• Provide regular automation execution reports to Test Lead / Test Manager.
• Support other automation engineers with framework queries and best practices.
  

Required Skills

Technical Must-Haves

• 5+ years in Software QA/Testing.
• 2+ years in Mobile Automation using Appium (Android/iOS).
• Strong experience in API Automation.
• Strong hands-on with Java, Cucumber, Gherkin, GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines, Nexus.
• Good understanding of CSS, HTML, Node.js, Angular.
• Knowledge of JIRA, XRay is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, debugging & problem-solving skills.
  

Domain Experience

• Minimum 2 years in BFSI domain (Personal Finance / Lending domain preferred).
