Job Description: Senior Business Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Practice Management (PMS) Analyst with strong domain knowledge of dental clinic operations, practice management systems, and financial workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with major dental PMS platforms and a deep understanding of clinical, operational, and financial interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, interpret, and validate data across various Dental Practice Management Software (PMS) platforms, including Power Practice, Abeldent, Dentrix, Tracker, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and others.
- Understand and navigate PMS interfaces such as:
- Patient Demographics
- Ledgers
- Appointments
- Treatment Plans
- Claims & Insurance
- Guarantors & Financial Responsibility
- Perform detailed analysis on financial and operational metrics:
- Production & Collection
- Production Adjustments & Collection Adjustments
- Accounts Receivable (AR) & Insurance AR
- Support data extraction, validation, and reconciliation for reporting, analytics, and migration projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify automation or process-improvement opportunities in PMS workflows.
- Assist with test planning, QA, and validation efforts for PMS-related enhancements and data integrations.
- Prepare process documentation, requirements, and user guides as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of dental practice operations and PMS workflows.
- Experience with at least one major Dental PMS; familiarity with multiple systems is a major plus.
- Solid understanding of dental financial concepts and ledger-level details.
- Experience with insurance workflows, claims lifecycle, and AR management.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries for data analysis, validation, or troubleshooting.
- Experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Proficiency in documentation and project-tracking tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Exposure to data analytics, QA processes, or EDW/BI environments is a plus.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and navigate ambiguity.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
