Company:Kiya.ai

Location: Kharadi, Pune(Hybrid) & Chennai (Pallavaram)

Experience: 2 to 5 Years in Corporate action

Job Summary

The Corporate Actions & Income Associate (S3) provides operational support in the processing and execution of both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions and income-related activities. The role involves ensuring accurate custody and accounting processing, handling client inquiries, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and monitor mandatory and voluntary corporate actions and dividend/interest processing across various financial products.
Process liability notices, class action suits, and ensure proper allocation of proceeds.
Reconcile client holdings against agent records to verify data accuracy and ensure timely corporate action processing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, event files, and recordkeeping in accordance with internal policies and audit standards.
Provide client support, resolving basic inquiries and escalating complex issues to senior professionals or supervisors when required.
Participate in client onboarding, system releases, and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards for all assigned tasks.
May provide guidance and support to junior team members on operational activities and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree preferred (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field).

Experience:

Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably in corporate actions, custody, or income processing.

Technical Skills:

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with custody systems or corporate actions platforms preferred.

Certifications:

Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

Key Competencies

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
Flexibility to work in rotating or extended shifts as required.
