Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys using DGPS, total station, and other survey equipment to collect data for power transmission line projects.
  
• Perform site surveys to gather information on existing infrastructure, topography, and environmental conditions.
  
• Utilize Google Earth software to analyze and interpret survey data for accurate mapping purposes.
  
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing survey findings and recommendations.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in land surveying or a related field (power transmission lines).
  
• Proficiency in DGPS operation and maintenance; knowledge of total station operation an asset.
  
• Strong understanding of topography principles; ability to read contour maps accurately.
  
• Experience working at heights; comfortable with aerial measurements taken from helicopters or drones.
