Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys using DGPS, total station, and other survey equipment to collect data for power transmission line projects.
- Perform site surveys to gather information on existing infrastructure, topography, and environmental conditions.
- Utilize Google Earth software to analyze and interpret survey data for accurate mapping purposes.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing survey findings and recommendations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in land surveying or a related field (power transmission lines).
- Proficiency in DGPS operation and maintenance; knowledge of total station operation an asset.
- Strong understanding of topography principles; ability to read contour maps accurately.
- Experience working at heights; comfortable with aerial measurements taken from helicopters or drones.
