Job Description
As an Development Engineering Expert for IT Operations Management (ITOM) on our team, you will transfer business demands to solution architecture to drive our IT Operations Management landscape used by thousands of users across the globe. You will closely collaborate with business owners, product managers, product owners and other experts in a large agile team.
In your daily business, you will ensure business demand is understood and documented in agile artefacts like epics, features and user stories, make technical and architecture concepts, contribute to implementation, and operations of SAP s Service Management application landscape.
- Support our Cloud Automation & Orchestration stream as a Solution Architect and Business Process Consultant
- Understand internal stakeholder requirements both business objectives and technical specifications and transfer them to functional products as detailed development story
- Serve as a technical thought leader and mentor, guiding team members through complex architectural decisions and emerging technology trends
- Drive continuous improvements with focus on quality, stability, usability, maintainability
- Integrate DevOps practices to take comprehensive operational responsibility for solution delivery, monitoring, and maintenance
- Develop deep expertise in business processes within the solution to identify and implement optimization opportunities that drive efficiency and simplification
- Academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Software engineering, business informatics or related fields
- 10+ years of professional working experience in solution architecture, development or comparable
- Experience in ServiceNow Platform as an architect and business consultant with focus on ITOM
- Experience in process automation
- Experience in designing large-scale IT systems
- Experience in application delivery processes, procedures & key metrics
- Knowledge of Agile (SAFe) implementation methods is a plus
- Leader and team player - give guidance and show excellent coordination skills, including conflict management
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and negotiation skills and be an interface to different stakeholders
- Quick learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed
- Competent in English (spoken and written)
