Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong full-stack capabilities, proficient in React.js or Vue.js for the frontend and Python or Java for backend development. The developer should be able to independently design and implement application logic, build scalable APIs, develop data processing components, and integrate with modern data and messaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using the listed technologies.
- Build and optimize backend services in Python or Java, including:
- RESTful API development
- Data processing/business logic
- Integration with databases and external services
- Develop responsive and modular frontend interfaces using React.js or Vue.js.
- Implement efficient data flows using Kafka (producers/consumers).
- Design and maintain relational database structures in MySQL.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the application stack.
- Collaborate with product, QA, UI/UX, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Maintain technical documentation for modules, services, and APIs.
- Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Frontend (React.js or Vue.js)
- Strong experience in building SPAs (Single Page Applications).
- Knowledge of components, state management (Redux, Vuex, or Composition API), routing, and REST integration.
- Experience with responsive design and UI performance optimization.
Backend (Python or Java)
- Hands-on experience with either:
- Python frameworks: Flask, FastAPI, Django, OR
- Java frameworks: Spring Boot, Microservices
- Strong understanding of OOPs, async processing, and backend logic development.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful services.
Database
- Strong experience in MySQL: schema design, queries, stored procedures, indexing, and optimization.
Others
- Solid understanding of Kafka architecture; ability to build producers/consumers.
- Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and general DevOps workflows.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
