Role & responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end test automation scripts for web and mobile applications using Python & Selenium/Appium.
  
• Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks and reusable components.
  
• Analyze CI/CD automation execution failures, identify root causes, and improve test reliability.
  
• Own the application from a QA perspective and ensure high-quality automation coverage.
  
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve blockers proactively.
  
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve framework, tools, and automation efficiency.
  
• Provide technical leadership to the team, review automation code, and mentor junior engineers.
  
• Work closely with global teams (including US counterparts) and participate in nightly meetings when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Python-based test automation, with strong hands-on skills in Selenium and automation frameworks.
  
• Strong expertise in Python programming, OOPs concepts, and test frameworks like PyTest or unittest.
  
• Experience in web/mobile UI automation and tools such as Selenium/Appium.
  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, JIRA, etc.
  
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and ability to handle challenges independently.
  
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of owning deliverables end-to-end.
  
• Ability to lead a team (68 members), provide guidance, and contribute individually.
  
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with international teams.
