Design Engineer - Interior Cockpit @ Alten

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and release interior cockpit components such as Instrument Panel, Door Trims, and Floor Console using CATIA/UG NX.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing for design feasibility, DFMEA, DVP&R, EBOM creation, and data release.
  
• Ensure quality, cost, and weight optimization while supporting regulatory, safety, NVH, and durability requirements.
  
• Resolve build issues, support validation, and drive improvements through benchmarking, design reviews, and supplier collaboration.
  
• Work on component/system-level design with strong knowledge of plastics, sheet metal, GD&T, and Teamcenter/PLM tools.
