Job Description Networking Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Networking Engineer with strong expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level network security solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience across Palo Alto and Cisco technologies, with strong skills in automation, troubleshooting, and complex migration work.

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, configure, and deploy Extranet and Network Security solutions
• Lead Cisco Palo Alto firewall migrations and perform code upgrades for firewalls, routers, and Nexus switches
• Provide Level 3 support, troubleshooting, outage management, and peer review of change controls
• Recommend performance and security optimizations across the environment
• Develop scripts/automation to streamline operations
• Consult with customers to deliver technical solutions and provide technical training to internal teams
• Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years in Network Security and Firewall engineering
• Strong expertise in Palo Alto firewalls (3400/3800/5200/5400), Panorama, Prisma Access/Strata Cloud Manager
• Deep experience with Cisco Firepower (21009300), Meraki MX, ASA/FTD, FMC, CSM
• Proficient with Cisco Routers/Switches (ISR1100, ASR100x, C8500, Nexus 9300/9500)
• Strong scripting/automation capabilities
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction skills

Nice to Have:

• PCNSE, Cisco DevNet, or PMP certifications
