Job Description

Android Developer

Mandatory skills : Java / Eclipse, OOPS, Interface, Abstract class, Collection framework.

• B.Tech./ B.E / MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related stream.

• 5+ years of Android Application Development experience.

• Must have good Java - Android Studio experience.

• Good Experience with persistent data storage and management.

• Must have experience consuming webservices from .Net servers.

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

• Experience working with remote data via REST, third party APIs and JSON.

• Should have an excellent understanding of Java / Eclipse, OOPS, Interface, Abstract class, Collection framework.

• Knowledge of web technologies like html5, css3, bootstrap, JavaScript preferable.

• Must have excellent logical and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

• Should be able to collaborate with cross - functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Should be able to write Unit - test code for robustness and UI, including edge cases, usability, security and general reliability.

• Should be able to work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

• Adhere to agile principles and work closely and collaboratively with the wider team.

• Experience in developing applications in customer facing industries like hospitality, healthcare, banking, travel and tourism etc will be an added advantage.
