Head of Business BFSI & Financial Services Hiring and Staffing(GCC/Captive Talent)

Lead & Scale Orcapod BFSI, FinTech & Global Captive Hiring Practice (Bangalore)!

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to build and scale Orcapods BFSI & Financial Services hiring vertical.

This is a full business ownership role with responsibility for:
Client acquisition
Delivery leadership
P&L ownership
Practice expansion and team building

You will lead hiring and staffing for high-end BFSI skills across banking tech, digital transformation, analytics, cybersecurity, cloud, risk, and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Growth

  • Partner with inside sales to expand mandates with banking GCCs, global financial institutions, FinTech captives, and insurance technology centers.
  • Pitch and win mandates across niche BFSI engineering, analytics, and operations skill areas.

Delivery Leadership

  • Drive end-to-end delivery for complex, high-volume, and niche BFSI technology hiring.
  • Build strong relationships with global financial institutions and GCC leadership.
  • Ensure superior quality, compliance, and SLA-driven performance.

P&L and Team Leadership

  • Own and scale the P&L for the BFSI & Financial Services hiring vertical.
  • Mentor and expand internal/external hiring teams specialized in BFSI tech and operations.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 12+ years in recruitment/staffing, with 6+ years supporting BFSI, Financial Services, FinTech, or GCCs.
  • Strong network across engineering, analytics, operations, cybersecurity, cloud, and digital transformation talent pools in BFSI.
  • Proven experience in client acquisition, account growth, delivery leadership, and P&L ownership.
  • Deep understanding of financial services domains:
    • Banking technology
    • Capital markets
    • Risk & compliance
    • Payments
    • Data/analytics
    • Financial operations
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to build and scale a domain-specific hiring practice.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong understanding of SLAs, MSAs, governance models, and compliance-driven hiring.
  • Ability to engage with technology and business leaders across:
    • AI in financial services
    • Cloud & cybersecurity
    • Digital banking platforms
    • Risk analytics
    • Automation & process re-engineering
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a vertical from the ground up.

What Were NOT Looking For

  • Recruiters with only generic IT hiring experience.
  • Profiles with no exposure to BFSI or Financial Services domains.
  • Pure corporate TA professionals without business development or P&L ownership.
  • Recruiters limited to entry-level hiring.
