Job Description
Job BriefWe are looking for an Automation Specialist in Mortgage Operations who is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions to optimize mortgage processes. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing manual interventions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards through intelligent automation tools and technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze loan documentation and identify opportunities for automation by connecting data points effectively.
- Conduct refresher training sessions for operations staff as needed.
- Facilitate regular feedback sessions with team members to improve processes and performance.
- Maintain accurate and timely reports in accordance with organizational standards.
- Stay updated with industry standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operations and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure automation aligns with business objectives.
- Develop and deploy automation scripts, bots, or tools using platforms such as RPA or other relevant technologies.
- Monitor and maintain automation solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize automation performance for continuous improvement.
- Document processes, automation logic, and changes for audit and training purposes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Strong understanding of automation tools and technologies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation, preferably within mortgage operations.
- Good knowledge of US Mortgage processes and terminology.
- Experience analyzing workflows to identify automation opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with RPA platforms and scripting languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Flexibility to work in both day and night shifts and availability on weekends if required.
- Knowledge of US Underwriting processes is an added advantage.
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging automation technologies.
