Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Partnerships to lead Client s partner ecosystem development for the Education sector in India with a focus on the K-12 segment.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing partnerships with:
    • Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
    • Educational Publishers
    • ICT Solution Providers
    • Affordable Private School (Client) Chains
    • Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
    • Education Labs Suppliers
    • Hardware Suppliers
    • Other education solution providers for schools
  • This high-visibility role is critical in driving the acquisition engine and engagement of Client products in the education market.
  • It requires the ability to independently evaluate potential partners and channels from a product-fit perspective to ensure these partners are able to best deliver the penetration and engagement for relevant products from the Client ecosystem.
  • A deep understanding of the Indian K-12 education ecosystem and its key players is essential.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to expand Client s footprint in the Indian education sector.
  • Identify and engage with potential partners across ISVs, publishers, ICT players, Client chains, NGOs, labs, hardware suppliers, and other education-focused organizations.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements aligned with Client s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to ensure successful partner onboarding and enablement.
  • Drive joint go-to-market initiatives with partners to promote Client s education offerings.
  • Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Represent Client at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on partnership performance and market trends.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or channel management, preferably in the education or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful partner ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian education landscape and key stakeholders.
  • Experience working in the education sector and with partner types such as ISVs, Publishers, NGOs, Client, ICT players, Labs, and Hardware Suppliers is essential.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
