Job Description
- Administer and maintain Windows Servers across on-premises and Azure environments.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) and Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS) in Azure.
- Implement and support file transfer mechanisms (SFTP, AzCopy, or similar tools).
- Perform vulnerability management scanning, assessing, reporting, and remediation planning.
- Execute regular patching cycles (Windows, SQL, and Azure workloads) with minimal downtime.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, patching, and monitoring using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows for routine operational tasks.
- Work with SQL databases basic administration, backup/restore, query execution, and performance checks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, governance, and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of processes, automation workflows, and incident resolutions.
