Job Description

Role & responsibilities


General Maintenance Management:

  • Oversees and/or coordinates maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians
  • Manage third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties
  • Responds to patients inquires and complaints.
  • Ensures timely and quality service delivery to patients.
  • Performs facilities inspections and prepares reports and updated the same to Sr. Manager FMS
  • Assists in the preparation of annual budgets covering all functional responsibilities
  • Direct all facility personnel to assist in day-to-day operations and facility management

Security Management:

  • Administer security framework necessary to ensure adhered with all, policies, and procedures
  • Manage a team of Supervisors who in turn lead security officers on site to respond to emergencies, support planned and unplanned operations, and support events and special activities as needed.
  • Work with Security Manager if available and others in the organization to develop and implement security standards, policies and practices to make continual improvements and increase the effectiveness of the security program.
  • Work with Security Supervisor to assure all access points are monitored and controlled.
  • In conjunction with Security Manager (if available), manage all security issues to resolution
  • Evaluate and lead, all security staff and organization personnel with security duties

Housekeeping Management:

  • Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all offices, concourses, seating areas, washrooms, concession stands, suites, and all public spaces.
  • Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of Patient & Guest satisfaction.
  • Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff and ground keeping staff.
  • Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
  • Conduct inspections of all rooms, concourse, seating areas and public areas
  • Responsible in training all new housekeeping staff members.
  • Maintain the housekeeping expenses within the budget
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
  • Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
  • Ensures that the quality of work performed by subordinate supervisors meets the Quality Assurance Program standards.
  • Maintain linen inventory on monthly basis.

Food & Beverages: (If applicable)

  • Monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help ensure that budget goals are attained.
  • Ensure that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are planned and implemented.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training and motivation.
  • Prepare F & B staff duty roster
  • Provide in-service training programs for food service personnel
  • Inspects and ensures for proper safety, sanitation and hygiene practices among departmental personnel

Transport:

  • Monitors all vehicle movements & maintenance of vehicles.
  • Prepare duty roster for drivers and schedule their special duties.
  • Monitors and process insurance renewals, taxes, emission test and servicing for vehicles.
  • Plan ad schedule for vehicle cleaning and assigned to drivers.
  • Reports any major repair or damages to Senior Manager FMS.
