The job

This role is responsible to support and drive sales engagement on software, primarily focused on industrial software within a specific geography. The incumbent in this role will be focused in both direct and indirect business development activity to:

1)Enable and support AVEVA and Schneider Electric sales teams and alliance partners to position our companys suite of software portfolios as best in class to meet customer requirements through our unique value propositions

2) Drive net new business, new logos for AVEVA3) Be a liaison between our sales teams and our strategic software partners to ensure collaboration and synergy

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the growth of our software portfolios through our sales teams and alliance partners to meet targets and kpis in the respective regions
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop and deploy growth programs, initiatives, and wining strategies
  • Be current with all product offerings and solutions to be seen as a subject matter expert
  • Ensure that all sales teams and partners are fully trained and have all the relevant tools necessary to be successful in selling our software
  • Launch new products and offerings into the market with close collaboration with offer category managers
  • Be able to conduct market analysis to identify gaps in the market and position our company and our offerings for success
  • Responsible for the identification and implementation of strategic growth and transformation activities
  • Work closely with global marketing to position our Industrial Software products and solutions as a leader in the market
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting on all sales activities in the region

Essential requirements

  • Good understanding of Industrial Software and the relevant industries where AVEVA operates
  • Deep understanding of Segments such as WWW, MMM, CPG, O&G will be a plus
  • Familiarity with sales cadences, sales enablement and reporting within Commercial organizations
  • Strong communications and collaboration skills required to work across different teams and organizations
