Med-Metrix - Denial Coders walk-in interview on December(22nd to 26th) 2025

Key Responsibilities:
- Examine insurance claim denials to identify root causes (coding errors, missing documentation, payer rules).
- Apply accurate ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical records.
- Ensure documentation supports medical necessity.
- Make necessary corrections and resubmit claims for reimbursement.
- Track resubmission status until resolution.
- Identify recurring denial patterns.
- Recommend preventive measures to reduce future denials
- Work with physicians, coders, and billing staff to resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate denial reasons and corrective actions to clinical and admin teams.
- Ensure adherence to payer guidelines, CMS rules, HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of coding standards.
- Maintain records of denial cases and resolutions.
- Generate reports on denial rates, causes, and recovery amounts.
- Suggest workflow improvements to minimize claim rejections.
- Train staff on accurate coding and documentation practices.
Educational Required :
- Graduation Mandatory
- CPC certification (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Familiarity with hospital billing procedures and healthcare compliance regulations
- Analytical skills to interpret complex medical records and documentation
