Technical Project Manager
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Banking or Insurance domains. The ideal candidate will lead complex technology projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery & Governance
- Plan, execute, and deliver technology projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Define project objectives, success criteria, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to senior leadership.
- Technical Leadership
- Understand technical architecture, integrations, and system dependencies.
- Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Domain Expertise
- Apply deep knowledge of Banking/Insurance processes, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Agile Delivery
- Drive Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE) or traditional methodologies as per project needs.
- Implement best practices for SDLC and DevOps where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Domain: Strong exposure to Banking or Insurance systems (Core Banking, Payments, Policy Admin, Claims, Risk Management, etc.).
- Technical Skills:
- Understanding of API integrations, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Microservices, and Data Migration.
- Familiarity with Core Banking systems, Insurance platforms, and Regulatory frameworks.
- Project Management Tools: JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe Agile.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Digital Transformation, Cloud Migration, or Core System Modernization.
- Exposure to AI/ML use cases in Banking/Insurance.
