We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to provide support for the successful execution of critical after-hours changes in partnership with onshore (U.S) project managers. In addition to supporting these change events, the Senior Project Manager will also lead smaller-scale IT network projects during standard onshore (U.S.) business hours. This includes managing end-to-end project delivery from planning and stakeholder coordination to risk management and execution tracking while ensuring alignment with PMO standards and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate change activities during onshore evening hours and weekend windows, ensuring alignment with approved implementation plans.
Act as the primary offshore liaison for onshore Project Managers during after-hours change execution.
Maintain clear communication channels between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership during change events.
Ensure all pre-change requirements, backout plans, and testing protocols are validated and approved prior to deployment.
When no after-hours change windows are scheduled, work aligned to onshore (U.S.) hours to independently lead small to medium IT infrastructure projects. This includes the following key responsibilities:
Lead the project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, driving regular communication and progress reporting.
Identify, document, and actively manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as required.
Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, risk registers, status reports, and customer-facing updates.
Manage change requests and scope adjustments in coordination with stakeholders and technical teams.
Must Have Skills
10+ years of IT infrastructure project managementexperience (network, server, storage, or data center environments).
Demonstrated success leading after-hours or production change activities.
Experience coordinating work across global or distributed technical teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated success in customer-facing roles.
Availability to support U.S. time zones (evening and weekend coverage) as needed.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet).
Skills Nice to have
Background in data center migrations, infrastructure modernization, or cloud transitions.
PMP certified
