Sr. Java Backend Developer @ Capco

Job Description

• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework .
• Work with Oracle/PostgreSQL databases and write efficient SQL/PLSQL queries.
• Implement Kafka-based integrations and contribute to cloud-native deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP) .
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to design and deliver backend solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and code reviews.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo) and version control (Git) .
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing services for performance and scalability.

• 6-9 years of experience in Java backend development .
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, SQL/PLSQL , and REST APIs .
• Experience with Agile methodology and modern development tools.
• Exposure to Payments or Financial Services domain preferred.
