The Security Analyst position will report to the Senior Manager of Security Engineering and be a part of a small but highly efficient team responsible for configuration and support of security infrastructure for AHEAD. The ideal candidate must be a professional, collaborative team player who is comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization. Applicants should possess exceptional analytical, communication, follow-up, and quality assurance skills.
Key Responsibilities
Triage security engineering support tickets and be a liaison with other IT support teams.
Configure, update, and analyze variety of security tools and software
Provide documentation and metrics as required
Assist in coordinating annual compliance activities such as ISO and SOC2 audits as required
Assist in coordinating and following up on employee security awareness training
Coordinate technology vendor assessments and analyze vendor security scorecards
Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a security analyst in a corporate environment
Prior experience administrating or configuring a SIEM product
Prior experience administrating or configuring endpoint security tools
Hands on experience with TCP/IP networking, protocols and routing
Experience managing network firewalls and Intrusion Prevention Systems
Hands on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) on Windows and macOS leveraging packet captures, client logs and cloud analytic tools to troubleshoot client issues.
Prior experience administrating Identity and Access Management solutions (e.g., Okta, Microsoft EntraID, Google Identity, AWS Identity Center)
Experience administrating digital certificates a plus
Basic understanding of SOC2 security framework
Detail-oriented and analytical with excellent oral and written communication skills

Education
Bachelor''s Degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
Possess at least one security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certification)
