Job Description for Data Science Trainer
RP2 India Pvt Ltd is a fast-growing organization focused on bridging the gap between academia and industry through innovative learning programs, corporate training, and career transformation initiatives in emerging technologies like Data Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, and Cloud Computing. Role Overview We are seeking passionate and experienced Data Science Trainers who can deliver engaging, practical, and industry-relevant training sessions to students and professionals. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data science concepts, programming, and analytical tools, with the ability to simplify complex topics for learners at various levels.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct instructor-led training sessions (classroom & online) on Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics topics.
Design and develop course materials, case studies, and hands-on projects aligned with current industry practices.
Evaluate student progress and provide feedback and mentoring to ensure learning outcomes are met.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science, AI, and machine learning.
Collaborate with the academic and placement teams to improve learning effectiveness and career readiness.
Contribute to content updates, workshops, and webinars to enhance the learning experience. Required Skills & Expertise
Strong knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib/Seaborn, and SQL.
Expertise in Machine Learning algorithms, Data Pre-processing, Model Building, and Evaluation.
Familiarity with Statistics, Probability, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), and Visualization.
Hands-on experience with projects in domains like predictive modeling, NLP, or AI-based applications.
Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Prior experience in training, mentoring, or corporate teaching is highly preferred. Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
25 years of experience in Data Science or Analytics roles (industry or academic).
Certification in Data Science or related technologies is an added advantage.
