Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Architect / Technical Lead with deep expertise in React.js and TypeScript, strong understanding of backend systems (Nest.js and Java microservices), and prior experience in banking or financial services applications.
The ideal candidate will design, lead, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance front-end architectures for enterprise-grade digital banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Design and own the frontend architecture for digital banking products (e.g., Internet Banking, Loan Origination, Customer Onboarding, Payments).
- Collaborate with backend (Nest.js / Java) teams to define secure and efficient API contracts.
- Establish UI frameworks, design systems, and component libraries ensuring reusability, scalability, and compliance with accessibility and security standards.
- Ensure adherence to banking compliance and security guidelines (e.g., data masking, encryption, secure session management).
Development & Implementation
- Develop complex and high-performing front-end modules using React.js, Redux (or RTK), and TypeScript.
- Integrate seamlessly with backend services (Nest.js / Java microservices) via REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Ensure responsive and accessible UI across multiple devices and browsers.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
Technical Skills Required
Frontend
- React.js, Redux / RTK, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Styled Components, Material UI / Tailwind
- Webpack / Vite, Babel, Linting & Formatting (ESLint, Prettier)
- Unit / E2E Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
Backend / Integration
- Nest.js (Node.js framework)
- Java (Spring Boot / Microservices)
- RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC
- Microservices architecture, API Gateway, Circuit Breaker Patterns
Security & Compliance
- OAuth2, JWT, SSO, SSL/TLS
- Secure session handling, encryption, CSRF/XSS prevention
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or other banking compliance frameworks
- Git, Jenkins / GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, ELK stack)
