Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong hands-on understanding of modern technology stacks and experience delivering software projects end-to-end. Experience in financial services, insurance, or mutual funds is a strong plus.
Youll work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear technical plans, manage delivery, and ensure solutions are robust, secure, and scalable on cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Must Have Project Delivery & Planning
Must Have Own end-to-end project lifecycle: requirements, estimation, planning, execution, UAT, and go-live.
Must Have Create and manage project plans, sprint plans, and release plans.
Must Have Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; drive resolutions proactively.
Must Have Technical Leadership
Must Have Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Must Have Work with engineers to define solution approaches, integration points, and technical constraints.
Must Have Review technical designs at a high level and ensure alignment with architecture and standards.
Must Have Stakeholder Management
Must Have Act as bridge between business, product, and engineering teams.
Must Have Run regular status meetings, demos, and stakeholder updates.
Must Have Manage expectations around scope, timelines, and trade-offs.
Must Have Process & Quality
Must Have Drive Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery practices.
Must Have Ensure proper documentation (BRD/PRD, technical specs, API contracts, runbooks).
Must Have Coordinate testing (functional, integration, UAT) and ensure quality before release.
Must Have Domain-Specific (Finance / Insurance / Mutual Funds) Must Have Understand business workflows like onboarding, KYC, transactions, portfolios, policies, and compliance (nice to have).
Must Have Support teams in ensuring regulatory, security, and data privacy norms are followed.
Must Have 35 years of experience as Technical Project Manager / Technical PM / Engineering PM / Scrum Master with strong technical background.
Must Have Proven track record of delivering End-to-End Web Application or Enterprise Applications.
Must Have Technical Understanding (Hands-on not mandatory, but strong working knowledge):
Must Have Cloud: Good understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS / GCP) environments, deployments, basic services (compute, storage, networking, security).
Must Have Database & SQL: Ability to read/write basic to intermediate SQL queries; understand schemas, joins, performance considerations. Must Have Frontend / Web: Understanding of modern frontend stacks (e.g., React, Angular), REST APIs, and how frontend integrates with backend and databases.
Must Have Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, environment management (dev/QA/prod), and version control (Git).
Must Have Project & Process Skills:
Must Have Experience working in Agile/Scrum (backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, retros).
Must Have Strong documentation skills (user stories, use cases, process flows, release notes).
Must Have Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Must Have Soft Skills:
Must Have Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Must Have Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
Must Have Ownership mindset and bias for action.
Must Have Good-to-Have / Plus Must Have Experience in BFSI domain, especially:
Must Have Mutual funds, wealth management, broking, insurance, or lending products.
Must Have Exposure to KYC, Regulatory requirements (SEBI, IRDAI, RBI guidelines, etc.).
Must Have Experience working with:
Must Have API integrations (internal and third-party).
Must Have Data & analytics teams (reports, dashboards, data warehousing).
Must Have Certifications: Must Have Agile / Scrum (CSM, PSM), PMP, or cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure) are a plus.
Education Must Have B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / MBA (Systems/IT) or equivalent technical/quantitative degree preferred.
Must Have Other degrees with strong demonstrable technical experience are also welcome.
Note: We only need in-depth technical experts. We will check this in depth during the interview.
Note: We need candidates who have Exposure in JAVA , REST API And UI Development.
Note: 1. In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and how to build them. Note: 2. Knowledge of in-depth UI technologies and development processes. They should sit next to developers and guide them through the code.
Note: 3.UX developer would not be Considered.
