Job Description
Azure Architect
10+ years
Responsibility:
Assessment Remediation:
Analyze Azure Well-Architected Review and other assessment reports.
Design and implement remediation strategies for security, performance, reliability, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and execute remediation tasks.
Architecture & Design:
Architect scalable, secure, and resilient Azure solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Develop Azure reference architectures and functional design specifications.
Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts including re-platforming and re-hosting.
Implementation & Delivery:
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
Ensure compliance with Azure governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Guide cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and business analysts.
Provide technical mentorship and training to junior architects and engineers.
Communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders and present architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in Azure architecture.
Strong knowledge of Azure services: Azure AD, Key Vault, App Services, Azure Monitor, NSGs, Load Balancers, etc.
Experience with remediation of Azure assessment findings and Well-Architected Framework.
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and automation tools.
Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR).
Hands-on experience with cloud migration tools like ASR, AppZero, and Azure Migrate.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
ITIL, TOGAF, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks
