Job Description

Role & responsibilities

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in REST API development at scale. You will build high-performance backend services, design scalable architectures, deploy on AWS, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Flask/FastAPI.
Design and optimize database models using ORMs (SQLAlchemy/Django ORM).
Work extensively with PostgreSQL.
Implement distributed/background tasks using Celery and RabbitMQ.
Deploy and manage applications on AWS (ECS/Fargate, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Glue).
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.
Perform code reviews, mentor juniors, and troubleshoot production issues. Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of backend development with Python.
Proven experience in REST API development at scale.
Strong proficiency in Flask (mandatory), with Django/FastAPI a plus.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks.
Experience with Redis, Celery, and RabbitMQ.
Proficiency with AWS services and Docker.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git workflows, and testing.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
