Lead Graph Engineer

Location: Thane and Bangalore
Experience: 8+ years in Data Engineering / Graph Technologies

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Graph Engineer to design, develop, and optimize graph-based solutions for complex data relationships. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in graph databases, ontology modeling, and query languages like Cypher, along with strong knowledge of cloud platforms and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement graph database solutions (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph) for large-scale data systems.
Design and maintain ontologies and semantic models to represent complex data relationships.
Develop and optimize Cypher queries and other graph query languages for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate graph solutions with cloud-based ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Work with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) to process and enrich graph data.
Ensure data security, governance, and compliance in graph-based systems.
Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions on graph technologies.

Required Skills

Graph Databases: Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph (or similar)
Query Languages: Cypher, Gremlin, SPARQL
Ontology & Semantic Modeling: RDF, OWL
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Big Data Technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and distributed systems
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with knowledge graphs and semantic web technologies
Familiarity with microservices architecture and API development
Exposure to machine learning or graph analytics use cases
