Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draughtsman with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Water and Sewage Treatment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and layouts for water and wastewater treatment plants, piping systems, and related civil and mechanical infrastructure.
Duties
- Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D models for various projects.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve design issues and improve project outcomes.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Draft detailed engineering layouts, piping diagrams, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, and fabrication drawings for WTP/STP/ETP projects.
- Work closely with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into clear technical drawings.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure all updates comply with company and industry standards.
- Maintain an organized drawing database and ensure version control.
- Coordinate with on-site teams to gather necessary inputs and support project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local and international design codes and practices.
