Job Description
Job Role: ETL/Data Testing + Snowflake
Location: Hyderabad
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO)
Work Timing: Afternoon (1-10 pm)
Experience: 5 to 8 years - (Senior & Specialist/Lead)

The ETL/Data Testing role involves the validation of data pipelines and processes that extract, transform, and load data.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Database and Backend Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in testing large-scale data platforms , including Snowflake , Azure Data Services , and backend services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement test plans for ETL processes.
- Design and implement test strategies for backend systems and data pipelines across Snowflake and cloud environments.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading for accuracy.
- Automate ETL testing processes using testing frameworks
- Perform data comparison and validation using tools like Validatar.
- Execute SQL-based validations for customized client-specific extracts.
- Document test cases, results, and defects using standard QA tools.
- QA Testing experience with good understanding of the STLC - Create test scenarios/test cases, perform reviews and execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Qualification:
- Hands on Experience in ETL Testing & Data Testing
- Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and DBT
- Proficiency in Validatar or similar data validation tools.
- Strong understanding of ELT pipeline testing, data comparison, and validation.
- Solid SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
- Strong experience in analysing Requirements
- Experience of agile/Scaled Agile methodology, processes and tools such as Jira, ALM etc.
