Job Description

Position: Billing Engineer (Civil)

Location: Virochannagar (Ahmedabad)

Experience: 8-10 years (large industrial construction projects preferred)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Civil

Key Responsibilities

Billing & measurement formats as per tender specs and best practices
Check measurements, certify contractor RA/running bills, issue bill certifications with site team
Maintain billing records with supporting docs, hidden work sketches/photos, joint measurements
Evaluate extra-item claims as per contract conditions
Material reconciliation (RA-bill wise): collect, verify, certify; prepare quantity variance reports
Apply penalties for rework/quality/safety non-compliance
Basic rate difference reporting & settlement (RA-bill wise)
Final bill certification + FAC documentation support for final payments

Skills / Attributes

Billing + estimation + reconciliation (industrial projects), contracts/tender knowledge, rate analysis; Excel + AutoCAD; strong documentation & coordination
