Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Define and implement the overall multi-cloud architecture strategy for Azure and GCP, including landing zones, networking, security, identity, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Align platform controls and operational processes with DORA (ECB) requirements for operational resilience, business continuity, incident management, and third-party risk oversight.
- Security Engineering: Design and enforce secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access models using Azure AD, Google IAM, Key Vault, and Cloud KMS; implement encryption, logging, and audit capabilities.
- FinOps Enablement: Develop cost-optimization frameworks, implement budgeting, chargeback, and cost-allocation models, and integrate real-time cost visibility dashboards across both clouds.
- DevOps & Automation: Architect CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, Deployment Manager), and automated provisioning templates that ensure consistency, compliance, and rapid environment deployment.
- Developer Platform Tools: Define and integrate developer-facing services (API gateways, container registries, developer portals, monitoring and observability tools) to accelerate application development and release velocity.
- Cross-Cloud Integration: Design patterns for hybrid networking, service mesh, data replication, and failover between Azure and GCP, ensuring portability and resilience of critical banking applications.
- Collaboration & Governance: Partner with security, compliance, infrastructure, and application teams to establish reference architectures, reusable patterns, and guardrails for multi-cloud adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
- 17+ years in IT architecture, with 5+ years in cloud platform architecture and deep hands-on expertise in both Azure and GCP.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Landing Zones, Cloud Foundations, and multi-cloud governance frameworks for regulated industries (preferably Banking/Financial Services).
- Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management, Zero Trust principles, network segmentation, DevSecOps, and FinOps.
- Some Familiarity with DORA, ECB, and related regulatory frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Service Mesh (Istio/Anthos).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills to work with senior technology and risk leaders within the bank.

Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Google Professional Cloud Architect
FinOps Certified Practitioner (FCP)
CISSP / CCSP / CISM / TOGAF (nice to have)
