Job Description
Details Making an Impact
Work with relevant Application owners to define and create application migration plans
Define and follow the migration process with emphasis on capturing the advantages of operating in the cloud for migrated applications
Partner with Cloud Engineering, Cloud Ops, and other teams in executing migration projects to ensure minimal risk and business disruption
Provide deep cloud migration expertise covering infrastructure, application architectures, cloud capabilities, security, etc.
In partnership with country application teams, review and identify candidate applications for cloud migration.
Lead the discovery and assessment of on-prem application workloads to inform detailed migration planning Last revised November 2024 2
Define appropriate migration strategy for each application (Rehost, Refactor, Rearchitect, etc.) while considering the cost and complexity of the various options
Work with other stakeholders to define and build the business case for cloud application migration
Ensure migrated applications comply with required security and controls requirements
Communicate cloud migration application status to key stakeholders. Define and measure relevant cloud application migration KPIs to ensure overall program health across budget, infrastructure currency, migration efficiency, etc.
Identify run time dependencies for applications
Work with business to determine application criticality
Understand from business regarding application upgrade and decommissioning plans and help the project manager to develop the application migration scenarios accordingly
Architect and develop business applications to be cloud optimized;
Work as a technical leader alongside business, development and infrastructure teams;
Advise business about Azure best practices;
Act as both an infrastructure and application development specialist; Sharing Expertise
In-depth understanding of how various Infrastructure domains work
Demonstrated experience as a senior leader with hands on technical expertise. Driving new technology standards and processes.
Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
Multiple years of experience in migrating on Prem environment to Azure and AWS cloud, inter hyperscale migrations.
Experience in communicating with end users, technical & business teams to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs.
Ability to influence and build working relationships across various stakeholders and team members Gaining Exposure
The role will require strong and focused internal networking that will eventually reach key senior levels within ManpowerGroup

Opportunity to work closely with Infrastructure Architecture, Infrastructure Operations, Application Development teams, Program Managers and Application/Platforms Managers, Information Security teams, Vendor Partners and any other teams to devise and agree on proper solution options and develop high- and low-level designs around various infrastructure components
Opportunity to work closely with the Regional CIOs, sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure the IT team is working toward the appropriate scope / requirements for the desired transformation. Critical Experiences Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field
10+ years of relevant experience in cloud Infrastructure principles and methodologies with at least five years of experience supporting application development and software engineering functions
One or more Public Cloud certifications (Azure )
Experience with configuration, migration, and deployment experience related to Azure IaaS/PaaS Technologies
Experience leading cloud migration projects with increasing levels of accountability covering Enterprise-grade applications and other business-critical applications
Experience leading Agile and Hybrid development and deployment projects Last revised November 2024

Experience in cloud-native application development and migration
Experience managing container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker swarm or equivalent
Solid understanding of Containerization and Virtualization technologies such as VMWare, docker
Good understanding of networking concepts (BGP, DNS, Load Balancing, firewall and core Internet), including CDN
Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar tools for tracking, developing, deploying software
Ability to take ownership and drive cloud application migration initiatives as part of projects independently
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
Experience in a customer facing role driving discussions with technical personnel regarding design, development and architecting best practices
Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability; Nice to Have
Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins);
Scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Powershell, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.);
