Job Description
Role Overview:
The Process Manager will lead and manage reconciliation operations for global financial institutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple asset classes and processes. This role involves team leadership, client interaction, process improvement, and risk management. The ideal candidate should have strong domain expertise, leadership skills, and experience in managing large-scale reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end reconciliation processes (Custody, NAV, Cash, Positions) for multiple clients.
- Lead a team of analysts and senior analysts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reconciliations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations and governance calls.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring breaks and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare and present MIS reports and dashboards to senior management and clients.
- Support audits and ensure robust documentation and control frameworks.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and fund accounting principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reconciliation tools, and familiarity with fund accounting systems.
- Ability to manage large teams and deliver under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with global custodians, fund administrators, and prime brokers.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SEC, FCA, MiFID, UCITS).
- Exposure to automation tools and process improvement methodologies
