Position: Travel Consultant / Sr. Travel Consultant
Location: Mumbai (Lower Parel)
Role Overview
As a Marine Ticketing Executive at Tripjack, youll handle end-to-end flight bookings and ticketing for seafarers and offshore crew. Youll work closely with our marine travel partners, ensuring accurate fare application, timely ticket issuance, and smooth travel coordination every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissues, refunds, and cancellations for marine and offshore crew.
- Work efficiently on GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre) to search fares, book, and issue tickets.
- Apply and verify marine fares, baggage policies, and airline-specific marine rules.
- Coordinate with airlines and consolidators for special fare requests, name corrections, and group approvals.
- Support crew change operations by arranging the most practical and cost-effective itineraries.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all bookings and documentation.
- Maintain close communication with marine clients, ensuring top-notch service and quick turnaround.
- Adhere to Tripjacks SOPs, service quality standards, and IATA compliance guidelines.
- Participate in shift rotations or 24x7 support as per operational requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate in Travel, Tourism, or a related discipline.
- 25 years of ticketing experience, preferably in marine or corporate travel.
- Hands-on knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre).
- Strong understanding of marine fares, air routing, and crew travel procedures.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as per operational demand.
