Automation Test lead @ Tata Consultancy

Job Description

Band: BPO 4/5

• More than 6 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year as a team leader managing an automation testing team.
• Sound understanding of software testing lifecycles.
• Ability to plan tasks, guide, and manage teams effectively.
• Familiarity with test program concerns including test data management, trouble reporting and resolution, test design, and test development.
• Understanding of application business area and application requirements.
• Functional expertise in the Banking area (expert in either Payment domain or non-Payment domain).
• Understanding of relevant technology domains.
• Expertise in software testing tools including test management tools and defect tracking tools such as QC and JIRA.
• Knowledge of automation tools is desirable, especially on xFramework, Selenium, TOSCA, and other industry-proven testing tools for AS400.
• Experience with AS400, HUB Screens.

• Proficiency in tools like Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or Karate for sending requests, validating responses, and automating tests.
• Experience with frameworks relevant to API testing, potentially integrating with broader automation frameworks like Selenium.
• Knowledge of tools and techniques for evaluating API performance, load, and stress (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Basic SQL knowledge for validating data changes resulting from API interactions.

• Bachelor of Computer Application.
