Senior Staff Engineer Design @ Careernet

Job Description

Key Skills: C#, Data Structures

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of Infineon's design infrastructure and methodologies to enhance design productivity.
• Create data structures to hold design data, populate them with formalized data (e.g., XML, HDL Models), and generate code from them.
• Write maintainable and scalable code using C#, applying efficient data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with design engineers to automate workflows and implement new methods quickly and effectively.
• Define architecture, coding principles, QA strategies, and documentation plans for implementations.
• Work on designing and coding software/EDA tools and flows.
• Develop methods that assist design engineers and improve workflow efficiency.
• Understand requirements, build quick prototypes, and deliver robust solutions.
• Communicate and exchange complex technical information across global teams effectively.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in C# programming with hands-on experience in object-oriented design and development.
• Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and UML modeling.
• Experience working on software/EDA tools and design flows.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand EDA domain methodologies and develop tools to automate design processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
• Understanding of VLSI design concepts is an added advantage.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.
