Job Description

Experience: 3- 10 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Notice Period: Immediate to 20 Days

Required Skills

• Strong understanding ofvideo codec fundamentals: encoding/decoding, GOP, rate control, motion estimation.
• Experience withAndroid multimedia frameworksand HAL layers.
• Hands-on debugging of:
• crashes
• ANRs
• video freezes/dropped frames
• synchronization issues (A/V sync)
• Proficiency with testing tools:ffmpeg, VLC, GStreamer, adb, QXDM.
• Knowledge ofcamera-video integration, metadata flow, and buffer pipelines (ION/Gralloc).
• Good exposure toPython or shell scriptingfor automation.

Good to Have

• Experience withMM SysArch, Camera HAL3, or Display pipeline (MDSS).
• Exposure toperformance profiling tools(Perfetto, Trepn, Snapdragon Profiler).
• Understanding ofHDR, WCG, 10-bit encoding, Dolby Vision workflows.
• Familiarity withAI-based video enhancement models.
• OEM or product launch experience.
