Job Description
Network Architect
12+ yrs
Ideal candidate must have design experience with the following -
- Knowledge of different industry verticals, architectures, and requirements
- Routing and switching infrastructure deployment models (physical and VNF)
- Wireless and IoT deployment architectures
- SD-WAN, SD-ACCESS, ACI, Cisco DNA, NSX, WAN Optimizer
- Load Balancer
- Monitoring Tools, - NPM, APM, IPAM, DDI
- Virtualization and Automation - Understanding of Software Defined Network, Network Function Virtualization, and intelligent WAN technologies.
- IT Service Management Understanding of ITIL best practices, preparing, and presenting the solution in change advisory board meetings.
- Identity and Access Management Design and implementation of Cisco ACS, Cisco ISE, BYoD, Network Admission control, SDP
- Intent Based Self-Healing Networks
- Azure, GCP, AWS Network architecture
- IP communications protocols, Enterprise Architectures, Video architectures
- Vertical industry experience in helping customers understand how technology and Architecture can solve their relevant business problems.
The Responsibilities includes -
- Work with customers and understand their setup and analyze their deployments and come up with areas of weakness, enhancements.
- Helps customers think through and define their IT strategy and resulting requirements as related to the industry challenges.
- Create use cases and solution architecture design for customer configuration/needs.
- Can create conceptual and logical architectures for the solution. The solution might include infrastructure, Collaboration and/or VXI/VDI components.
- Leads an effort whose goals are to craft and deliver business value justification, business requirements to technology architecture mapping, solution architecture & integration, and organizational change management recommendations.
- Individual builds plans and coordinates implementations of the solution across cross-technology (DCN/DC/Collab) virtual delivery teams.
- Able to articulate this vision across Executives and senior Enterprise/Solution Architects.
- Create repeatable service offerings for specific domains such as SDN / Network Function Virtualization, BYOD, security, and applications.
- Work with Sales Managers to engage in pre-sales activity and propose creative ideas and solutions to customer needs.
- Deliver technical and services workshop for Network offerings.
- Work with other solution teams to create validated designs and other reference architectures.
- Create technical and solution content.
Candidate Profile, Skills and Qualifications -
- 10-15 years of solution architect experience in Architecture, Design, Build, Operate and Optimize
- Preferably a BS, MS degree in EE, computer science
- CCNP, AWS, GCP certification good to have.
- CCIE is a plus.
