Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 10+ years

Notice period : Max. 2 to 3 weeks

Qualification: B.Tech Only

Key words to search for :

JD :

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, desktop, and API applications using C# and SpecFlow.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements and user stories into Gherkin-based test scenarios.
Design and implement scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch.
Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable frequent, automated testing.
Perform functional, regression, and API testing to ensure software stability and performance.
Identify, document, and track bugs, and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

Required skills and experience

Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with a strong focus on C# and SpecFlow.
Solid understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles and the Gherkin syntax.
Hands-on experience with UI automation using Selenium WebDriver or a similar tool.
Proficiency in API testing using C# and tools like RestSharp
Experience working with Azure Devops CI/CD pipelines
Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
Familiarity with test frameworks such as NUnit or MSTest.
Experience working within an Agile software development lifecycle.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
