Job Description
Covasant is hiring a skilled UI Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in React.js and modern frontend development. Additional technical
knowledge in any other UI frameworks or tools will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+),
HTML5, and CSS3. - Build reusable components and ensure UI consistency across the application.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional, user-friendly frontend interfaces.
- Integrate frontend features with REST APIs and backend services.
Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. - Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
Work collaboratively with Designers, Backend Developers, QA, and Product teams. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing features or modules.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in React.js, functional components, and Hooks.
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design. - Experience with state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON-based integrations.
Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn. E - Experience using Git for version control.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Exposure to other frontend frameworks like Angular or Vue.js.
- Experience with UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind, Bootstrap).
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
Education
- Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (preferred).
