Location : Mumbai , Pune , Chennai
Experience: 3-5 Years
Employment Type: Contract of 1 year
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Python Engineer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python frameworks, modern software architecture, and API development, with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Youll work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product to deliver reliable solutions that power enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python.
- Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, and optimized code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and cloud-based components (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Implement data processing pipelines, automation scripts, and performance enhancements.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and version control using Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 36 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Proficiency in one or more Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Proficiency with Node.js.
- Strong understanding of OOP principles, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORM tools.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Exposure to data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques.
- Bonus: Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or AI/ML pipelines.
