Power BI Developer - Data Analytics @ Leading Client

Job Description

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, build and maintain end-to-end Power BI solutions : data ingestion, data modelling, measures (DAX), and interactive dashboards aligned to business KPIs.

- Develop and optimize complex DAX calculations, Power Query transformations (M), and semantic models to ensure high-performance reports.

- Implement data governance patterns-row-level security, incremental refresh, versioning and deployment to Power BI

Service/Report Server.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable visualizations, storyboards, and self-service analytics capabilities.

- Integrate Power BI with upstream data platforms (SQL Server, Azure data services) and build robust ETL/ELT patterns for

repeatable pipelines.

- Establish best practices for report design, performance tuning, documentation and handoffs to support teams.Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have (technical skills) :

- Power BI.

- DAX.

- Power Query (M).

- SQL Server.

- Data Modeling.

- Power BI Service.Preferred (technical Skills) :

- Azure Data Factory.

- SSAS Tabular.

- Azure Synapse Analytics.Qualifications :

- Proven track record delivering Power BI solutions in enterprise environments with strong stakeholder management.

- Experience implementing deployment pipelines, governance, and performance optimization for BI platforms.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into measurable dashboards and reports.
