Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage systems, including Dell PowerMax, Dell Power Scale, Dell PowerStore, and Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade.
Oversee operations of legacy platforms, including Dell Unity and Dell XtremIO , ensuring smooth transition and migration planning.
Manage and optimise WAN acceleration using Vicinity to support distributed data environments.
Administer data protection platforms, including Oracle ZFS, Dell Data Domain, Dell Avamar (retiring by end of year), Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), and Dell Networker (limited use).
Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to meet business continuity requirements.
Monitor storage and data protection systems for performance, capacity, and security, performing regular health checks and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application and business requirements, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
Document procedures, configurations, and policies for storage and data protection environments.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in storage and data protection .
