Technical LeadRole & responsibilities
As a partner support agent for Google services such as Google Sports, your primary responsibility is to (1) support launching OneBox for new leagues, (2) perform data quality analysis and (3) debug and triage data issues with data partners and xFN stakeholders and (4) make sure Google services always show accurate and detailed data in a timely manner. The changes you make will help sports fans and users worldwide to follow the leagues, athletes, team, etc on Google without them having to navigate the fragmented sports ecosystem.
You will initially contribute to launching OneBox for leagues and new features on OneBox for which we have data. You would be working with product managers, program managers, engineering teams, business development teams, gTech and most importantly external data providers for the same.
Issues to be resolved might often not be obvious. You will demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to deeply understand issues, data and schema definitions of feed, and explain issue details and our expectations clearly and evidently to our data providers and stakeholders. When issues are complicated, solutions might be also complicated and can not be implemented immediately. You will act as a program manager to make a plan, coordinate schedule, monitor progress to facilitate data fix. Additionally, you will review the provider's data format, term definitions, and the ways of delivering data which potentially affect the service.
