Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Indian Sign Language (ISL)
- Experience in interpreting and teaching sign language
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 12-15 DHH resources, ensuring effective communication and productivity
- Ensure tasks are completed with precision and within established timelines
- Set goals, generate reports, track team progress and performance, and provide regular updates to management
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and mentorship to enhance the performance of team members
- Provide sign language interpretation services for deaf and hard of hearing individuals in various settings, including educational institutions, workplaces, and community events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their communication needs and preferences.
- Conduct assessments to identify areas where additional support may be needed for students' academic progress.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including notes on conversations, meetings, and feedback sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, trainers, and other professionals to develop effective communication strategies for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
