My Role
As a LTE/5G Protocol Testing, I specialize in validating wireless communication systems across 3G, LTE, and NR technologies. I work closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure robust protocol compliance, develop automation frameworks, and contribute to end-to-end UE testing strategies.
In this role, I have:
- Protocol testing initiatives for 3G, 4G, and 5G modems on Android platforms
- Developed automation frameworks using Python and Java for IMS/VoLTE/VoWiFi/VoNR testing
- Applied deep understanding of 3GPP specs to validate UE-specific procedures and call flows
- Worked extensively with IMS protocol stack including SIP, Diameter, RTP/RTCP
- Delivered system-level testing and architecture validation for mobile handsets
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage and accelerate release cycles
- Stayed current with evolving wireless standards and contributed to internal capability building
My Profile
- 2-5 years of experience in wireless protocol testing and system validation
- Strong grasp of mobile wireless concepts and 3GPP standards
- Proficient in Python and Java frameworks for automation and testing
- Hands-on experience with Android system testing and modem integration
- Deep knowledge of IMS architecture and protocols
- Bachelors degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science
- Passionate about telecom innovation and collaborative problem-solving
