C# - Senior Engineer @ Iris Software

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience with C# and the .NET framework (ideally .NET Core/6+) for building enterprise-grade, database-driven web applications.

Hold a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

2+ years demonstrated experience in a Lead or Senior role, mentoring a team and driving technical design.

Proven experience using Relational Databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), writing complex SQL, and proficiency with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Entity Framework Core.

Demonstrate mastery in:

• • C# and ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC).
  • Designing and securing RESTful Web Services.
  • Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and software design patterns.
  • Front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with strong familiarity with modern frameworks (Vue, React, or Angular).
  • Source version control using Git and continuous integration/delivery practices.
  • Excellent initiative, problem-solving, and the ability to capture and document software design specifications and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Java, or Python for integration or architectural awareness in a multi-stack environment.
• Experience in Azure or AWS cloud-native development and services.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working knowledge of clinical trial processes, medical informatics, or other highly regulated environments.
• Postgres-specific or advanced SQL Server tuning/database administration knowledge
