SAS Developer @ Accenture

Job Description

You will play a crucial role as a SAS Developer in the captive technology arm of a leading global insurance group. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing SAS Data Integration solutions for ETL processes. - Writing and optimizing SAS programs for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting. - Collaborating with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and security of data throughout the integration process. - Performing debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of existing SAS programs and data integration jobs. - Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for all development work, including technical designs, process flows, and change logs. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Proven experience as a SAS Developer or SAS Programmer. - Expertise in SAS Data Integration Studio (DI). - Proficiency in base SAS programming, including SAS macros, SQL, and procedures like PROC SQL, PROC REPORT, and PROC FREQ. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and data modeling. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This opportunity is based in Mumbai and requires 2-4 years of relevant experience.
