Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager Current Accounts
Department: Retail Banking
Location: rajkot
Job Purpose:
The role involves acquisition, relationship management, and servicing of Current Account (CA)
clients. The Assistant Manager is responsible for achieving business targets, ensuring high
customer satisfaction, and cross-selling banking products to maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new Current Account customers through field visits and market references.
- Manage and deepen existing CA client relationships by providing excellent service.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and internal banking guidelines.
- Cross-sell banking products like CASA, FD, CMS, Trade & Forex, Insurance, and Business
Loans.
- Drive customer engagement and portfolio activation for revenue growth.
- Coordinate with branch staff and operations team for seamless customer service.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets for acquisition and balances.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong sales and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of Current Accounts, Cash Management Services, and related banking
products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance norms.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline.
- 25 years of experience in Current Account acquisition and relationship management in banking.
- Proven track record of meeting business targets in CASA/CA segment.
